One of the most amazing things I learned about when joining the Children's Hospital of Buffalo Foundation was the array of Family Support Services we offer children and their families.

From seeing our Child Life Specialists who guide patients through visits and procedures and take the fear and uncertainty away, to our Healing Arts and Stone's Buddies programs that offer outlets and emotional support, means the world to me.

These support services are not reimbursed through insurance and are fully dependent on philanthropy, so supporting me on Giving Day FOR Oishei Children's Hospital will be incredibly impactful!

The children receiving care at Oishei Children’s Hospital and their families oftentimes spend days, weeks or even months within the hospital walls. While medical procedures are top-of-mind during a stay, there are many services and programs – such as Child Life, Healing Arts and Stone’s Buddies – that are FOR helping our patients and their families feel comfortable and supported during a hospital visit.
